DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column]    \n    	\n                	SPEAKER PROFILES:                \n        \n    \n        \n    	\n                	Dr Lindsay Peterson                \n        \n    \n    [vc_column_text]Lindsay Peterson is a medical oncologist dedicated to the care and survivorship of patients with breast cancer and trained in clinical research. Her research interests include intervention development for improving cancer and treatment-related outcomes\, mainly through lifestyle modification. \nShe completed her medical school at Tulane University and her residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. She completed the Master of Science in Clinical Research program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has completed and is actively involved in multidisciplinary projects related to both lifestyle modification and chemotherapy related toxicities. She is on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Survivorship panel where she leads the Healthy Lifestyles Subcommittee and is funded by the American Cancer Society to study the prognostic significance of specific dietary factors in breast cancer and to identify a novel\, lifestyle-linked prognostic biomarker in breast cancer. She is site PI for investigator-initiated studies and large national and international randomized controlled trials of various interventions in treatment of breast cancer patients on active treatment and breast cancer survivors.[/vc_column_text]    \n    	\n                	Dr Tracy Irura (Moderator)                \n        \n    \n    [vc_column_text]Tracy Irura is a Senior Registrar in Clinical Oncology at Kenyatta University Teaching\, Research and Referral Hospital. \nShe holds a Master’s in Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine from Alexandria University\, Egypt. \nDr Irura is the co-founder of the Integrated Cancer Research Foundation of Kenya an NGO that seeks to rid Africa of the cancer burden and be a leading cancer research organization in the world. \nWebinar Recording\n[vc_video link=”https://vimeo.com/871604317″]\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
