NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES AND UK AID IN THE ERA OF COVID-19

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) – such as cardiovascular disease (heart disease and stroke), diabetes, chronic lung disease and cancer – account for 70% of deaths worldwide. 86% of premature NCD deaths occur in low and middle income countries (LMICs).
