Strengthening Cancer Care Through Capacity Building and Innovation

The October 2025 newsletter marks a powerful month dedicated to breast cancer awareness and capacity building.

Leading this edition is the launch of the Breast Cancer Capacity Building Programme, a regional initiative designed to enhance clinical expertise in diagnosis, treatment and multidisciplinary care. It also features a landmark story on Kenya’s first Paediatric Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) Transplant Centre at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital, set to begin treating patients in November 2025.
