Education and Training Committee
The responsibilities of the Education and Training Committee include identifying educational needs and practice gaps, developing learning objectives; designing accredited and non-accredited educational programs and workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of KESHO’s educational activities.
As part of our ongoing activities, KESHO hosts weekly Accredited CME sessions via webinar on various scientific topics relating to the diagnosis and treatment of different Cancers and Blood Disorders. These sessions are presented by our members and are open to the public, often attracting attendees from across the country, the region and beyond. The Education committee works closely with the Executive Committee to ensure that activities meet KESHO’s Mission and are implemented in compliance with the KMPDC Accreditation Requirements.
The current Chair for the Education and Training Committee is Dr Mohammed Ezzi, a Lecturer and Medical Oncologist based at the University of Nairobi.
