Dr Grace Kiraka is a consultant clinical pathologist working at the M P Shah hospital.
She has a master’s in clinical pathology [Mmed Clin Path] from the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi and specializes in the diagnosis of blood and bone marrow disorders. Dr Kiraka has a keen interest in therapeutic apheresis and has been carrying out red cell exchange transfusions for patients living with Sickle Cell Disease at the M P Shah hospital. She hopes this therapy will soon be available to all patients with SCD that need it across the country.
