SPEAKER PROFILES:

Dr Njoki Njiraini
Njoki Njiraini is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

She has been key in instituting multidisciplinary meetings, problem oriented research in the department, and streamlining patient care within the oncology clinics in the public and private sector.

Dr Njiraini holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi, a Master’s Degree in Radiation Oncology from the University of Cape Town, is a Fellow of the College of Radiation Oncology (FCRO) South Africa and a graduate of the Harvard POETIC Fellowship programme.

Dr Muhammad Suhail Anwar 
Muhammad Suhail Anwar is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre and Adjunct Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology at Al Faisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He holds several prestigious qualifications, including FRCR and MRCP from renowned institutions in the UK and Ireland. Dr. Anwar has been actively involved in the medical field since obtaining his MBBS degree in 1989.

Throughout his career, Dr. Anwar has been dedicated to research and education, mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students. He has authored numerous publications and presented his work at various national and international conferences. Dr. Anwar’s research interests include breast and gynecological cancers, and he has been involved in several clinical trials.
He is a member of the several professional bodies:
•              Classification and Registration with Saudi Health Council (SCFHS)
•              Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK)
•              Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK)
•              Member of the Royal College of Physicians (IRELAND)
•              Former Member British Gynaecological Cancer Society (UK)

Dr Primus Ochieng (Moderator)
Primus Ochieng is the Programme Director of MMed Radiation Oncology training at the University of Nairobi. He is both a lecturer and a consultant clinical oncologist at Kenyatta National Hospital.

He has keen interest in Head and neck, prostate cancer treatment. Dr. Ochieng is committed to ensure the program produce well qualified oncologists who will make a difference in cancer treatment in the region. To achieve this, he is keen in collaborating with various centers in the developed world in areas of training, research and skill development.
