PEAKER PROFILES:

Dr Joseph Abuodha 
MBCHB (MOI), MMED-INTERNAL MEDICINE (AKU), MRCP-UK (EDIN) FELLOW MEDICAL ONCOLOGY 

Dr Abuodha obtained his undergraduate degree from Moi University, after which he was involved in clinical trials with KEMRI/CDC and later entered the oncology world at AMPATH-KENYA. He pursued his speciality training in Internal Medicine at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi and is currently the inaugural Fellow in Medical Oncology at the Department of Haematology and Oncology at the institution after spending a brief period as an instructor.

He is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Dr Abuodha has a keen interest in research for health in oncology and building capacity for medical research in the larger Eastern Africa.

Dr Amina Kidee (Moderator)

Dr Amina Kidee is a Medical Oncologist at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Mombasa.

Her interests are in breast cancer, GI malignancy, and translational research.
