Christine Mugo-Sitati is the Executive Director of Kenyan Network of Cancer which is the national umbrella body of over 35 registered cancer civil society organizations, spread throughout the country, active in various aspects of cancer control in Kenya and committed to a united response against cancer.
Christine is a health professional with over 12 years’ experience in Health and Nutrition, Project and Budget management, Stakeholder Engagement as well as Social and Behavior Change Communication in various community settings in Kenya.
She is a member of the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute; a Country Champion for the Cancer Advocates Programme in Kenya by the Union for International Cancer Control, Hub Coordinator for the Africa Cancer Research and Control ECHO; a member of the Prevent20 tobacco control working group and has a passion for preventive and promotive health. She is a keen advocate for healthy living and in addition supports a rights – based approach in health programming.
