Dr. Andrew Odhiambo is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, where he leads the Medical Oncology Thematic Unit. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh and ECSACOP), he specializes in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and advanced breast cancers, with expertise in precision oncology through immunotherapy and targeted therapy across a wide range of solid tumors. His clinical focus extends to cancers of unknown primary and neuroendocrine neoplasms.

Dr. Andrew’s impact extends far beyond his clinical practice. Through research, mentorship, and strategic leadership, he is transforming oncology across the continent. He serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Health and contributes to international guideline development with ASCO and NCCN. His commitment to advancing African oncology is reflected in his leadership roles within ESMO and KESHO, as well as his active involvement with AORTIC.
