Profile

Dr. Fatmah Abdallah is a Pediatric Oncologist. She holds a MBChB, M. Med (Path), and is currently a member of the Task Force on National values as well as the Medical Practitioner’s and Dentists.

She received both her medical and specialization degrees at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Nairobi, Kenya. She got the Prize for the best postgraduate student and got a job at the Red Cross Childrens’ Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa.

After being recognized as a Board-Certified Pathologist, she was appointed a lecturer and later as a senior lecturer, in the Department of Haematology at the University of Nairobi. She also works at Kenyatta National and Referral Hospital in the area of blood diseases, cancer, and transfusion medicine. Most of her daily work involves managing children with cancer.

Dr. Abdallah edits articles for the East African Medical Journal and is a member of some community service organizations. She is a firm advocate of the prevention of diseases and a believer in natural methods to health.
