Dr. Bor is a medical doctor and global health expert with extensive experience in clinical care, health systems strengthening, and healthcare management in Kenya’s public sector. She currently serves as the Head (Acting) of the National Cancer Control Program at the Ministry of Health, where she leads initiatives across the cancer care continuum. She has been instrumental in shaping and implementing the National Cancer Control Strategy, cancer screening guidelines, and other key national health policies and programs, with a strong focus on prevention & early detection, contributing to Kenya’s progress toward Universal Health Coverage. A strong advocate for integration and collaboration, she is dedicated to realizing the vision of a Kenya free from the preventable burden of cancer. She holds a Master of Science in Global Health & Non-Communicable Diseases from University of Edinburgh.
