Dr. Mohammed Shabbir Ezzi is a Medical Oncologist and Lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s Department of Clinical Medicine and Therapeutics. With a specialized focus on breast cancer and sarcoma, he holds a Certificate of Competence in Breast Cancer from Ulm University and the European School of Oncology (ESO), and has completed advanced training in Sarcoma and Rare Solid Cancers.
Dr. Ezzi serves as a Consultant in Medical Hemato-Oncology at the Kenyatta National Hospital, where he is actively involved in clinical care, research, and the mentorship of medical fellows. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Ezzi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics ranging from cisplatin-induced neuropathy to the impact of COVID-19 on African cancer care. His academic excellence was recognized internationally as the 2021 e-ESO Mastermind Winner. He is a member of several national and international bodies, including KESHO, AORTIC ESMO, ASCO, and IASLC.
