Frank is a research scientist with 9 years experience in infectious disease research. He is interested in applying molecular biology tools to improve clinical diagnostics and to expand access within resource-limited settings. Previous appointments include five years at the University of Nairobi’s Centres for Excellence in HIV Medicine, where Frank led a team that established HIV drug resistance testing using Sanger sequencing.
Frank is the country representative – Kenya for Yemaachi Biotech a leading cancer research company that aims to build the cancer knowledgebase in Africa using cutting edge genomic science and artificial intelligence.
