Pamela has over 25 years’ experience in cancer care, Education and Training both public and private institutions. She has a wealth of experience in cancer research & community mobilization having successfully coordinated a Multi-national, multi-centre Epidemiology of Burkitt’s Lymphoma in East African Children and Minors (EMBLEM Study). She currently works at International Cancer Institute (ICI) as the Community Chief Outreach Coordinator supporting delivery of optimal NCD care to patients & communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Her interests are on early detection through community mass screenings, facility-based screenings, treatment centers and establishment of working relationships with county health teams, sites in collaboration with other stakeholders. Pamela’s focus also is on advocating for cancer survivorship care, launching almost 5 cancer patient/survivor support groups in different counties.

Pamela is a co-founder of Oncology Services at MTRH. She is a member of KESHO, NNAK, Onco Chapter, AORTIC, KEHPCA, APCA, ONS, MASCC and ISNCC.
