Dr Verna is a senior Clinical Oncology Consultant at the National Center for Radiotherapy, Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at Korlebu Teaching Hospital, Ghana.

She has mentored many regional and international young cancer professionals throughout their training, young- and middle-level career phases.
