SPEAKER PROFILES:
Dr Njoki Njiraini
Dr Njiraini is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at the Cancer Treatment Centre in The Nairobi Hospital.
She has been key in instituting multidisciplinary meetings, problem oriented research in the department, and streamlining patient care within the oncology clinics in the public and private sector.
Dr Njiraini holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi, a Master’s Degree in Radiation Oncology from the University of Cape Town, is a Fellow of the College of Radiation Oncology (FCRO) South Africa and a graduate of the Harvard POETIC Fellowship programme.
Dr David K. Kimani
MBChB, MMed General Surgery UON (2007)
Dr. Kimani is a Consultant Urologist at Kenyatta National Hospital in Kenya, and an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Nairobi. He did his Clinical Fellowship in Urology at the Global Health Institute Chennai, India in 2014. He has keen interests in Prostate Care and Kidney Transplantation.
Dr. Kimani is a Member of the Surgical Society of Kenya (SSK), Kenya Association of Urological Surgeons (KAUS), Society for International Urologists, (SIU), and the American Urological Association (AUA).
Moderator: Dr Regina Nanzia Ojiwa
Regina Nanzia Ojiwa is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at the Cancer Treatment Centre in Kenyatta National Hospital.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Moi University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine from Alexandria University, Egypt.
Dr Nanzia has key interest in Esophageal, Colorectal and Prostate cancer.
